New £6m health centre unveiled
Liverpool's latest purpose built health centre has been officially unveiled.
The new £6m development, based on Mere Lane in Everton, is the second development to be delivered in the area after a £6m centre opened on Townsend Lane in January.
Merseyside development company LSHP carried out the project, making it its 12th to be built on behalf of NHS Merseyside.
The series represents a total investment of over £70m by the business into the regeneration of deprived communities across Merseyside.
The new developments are part of Liverpool Primary Care Trust's wider vision for a 'New Health Service for Liverpool' which was launched in 2007.
