Women in business
More than half the working age population is women, but women remain under
represented in all forms of economic activity, and this is particularly the
case when it comes to business ownership.
Liverpool Vision recognises that the city would benefit greatly in social and
economic terms if more women were enabled to start and grow their own businesses.
Given that women are a relatively untapped entrepreneurial market, coupled with
Liverpool Vision’s commitment to increasing the numbers of women starting
and growing in the city, we have developed a joint partnership arrangement with
award-winning women’s enterprise agency Train 2000.
Liverpool women can now access for free, a full range of services to help them
to explore whether running a business is for them, such as; access to grants
and loans; development of their business plan, and expansion to make their business
more profitable.
To access the full range of services please visit Train 2000 or call 0151 236 6601.
